Dr. Garret Swenson
- Dr. Garret grew up north of East Grand Forks, graduating from East Grand Forks Senior High in 1999.
He then attended and graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. Following
graduation Dr. Garret worked as a massage therapist in East Grand Forks MN. After about a year he
decided to go back to school for his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He attended St. Cloud State University
where he earned a bachelors degree in Biology. Following his studies at St. Cloud University he moved
to Minneapolis, MN to attend Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Garret graduated from
Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2008.
Dr. Sheila Swenson
- Dr. Sheila grew up in Dickinson, ND where she graduated from Dickinson High School. Dr. Sheila
always knew that she wanted to become a chiropractor so after graduating from high school she move to
Fargo, ND to begin undergraduate studies at North Dakota State University. After completing the needed
requirements, Dr. Sheila moved to Minneapolis, MN and began her studies at Northwestern Health
Sciences University. Dr. Sheila graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences in November of 2006.
Following graduation Dr. Sheila practiced in Fridley, MN at MorningStar Chiropractic until moving in
August of 2008.
Dr. Sheila and Dr. Garret met while attending chiropractic school and were married in 2007. They are
the proud parents of Cadence Lynn who was born in late 2008 and Logan Garret who was born in
January 2010. Besides spending time with their family and friends the two enjoy running, traveling,
basketball, concerts, church groups, and a variety of other activities.
